Simon is currently the Marketing Director at Menulog, responsible for the growth strategy for the business and recently launching the Snoop Dogg campaign in Australia. Since joining in 2019 the business has seen over 100% growth in FY2020 and accelerating to over 200% growth in Q1 2021. He has ambitious plans to reclaim the number 1 position in the Australian food delivery market.
Simon has more than 15 years’ experience leading marketing and commercial teams in highly dynamic growth environments. Prior to Menulog Simon was part of the management buy-in team for a private equity-backed health retailer, helping to rebrand and restructure the business to position it for resale to a major retailer. At Carnival Australia, Simon helped drive nine consecutive years of double-digit growth for the cruise industry to overtake the US as the most highly penetrated market in the world. Simon has also held senior positions with Qantas Holidays, major global advertising agencies McCann and Singleton, Ogilvy & Mather and a former advisory board member for Monash University’s Masters of Tourism program and The Song Room NFP.
Simon was named in CMO Magazine’s inaugural list of Top 50 most innovative marketers in Australia in 2015 and the most recent list in 2020.
